WASHINGTON (Feb. 5, 2025) – The American Chemistry Council (ACC) Board of Directors approved the addition of one new Manufacturing member and one new Affiliate member at its February Board of Directors meeting.

The manufacturing member approved is:

  • Olin Corporation, “a global manufacturer and distributor of chemical products and a leading U.S. manufacturer of ammunition. Since 1892, Olin has grown and expanded to encompass several complementary business units, including Olin Chlor Alkali Products & Vinyls and Olin Epoxy.  Collectively, these business segments employ 7,300 professionals in more than 15 countries with customers in nearly 100 countries across the globe.”

The affiliate member approved is:

  • Stolt-Nielsen, “which provides global transportation, storage and distribution services for bulk liquids and is a leader in sustainable land-based aquaculture. Operating for more than 60 years, Stolt-Nielsen is the world’s largest operator of sophisticated chemical tankers, a global provider of safe storage services for bulk liquids and the leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk-liquid chemicals and food-grade products.”

“I’m thrilled to have Olin back at ACC, especially as a leader and practitioner of Responsible Care®, which is mandatory for all manufacturing members,” said ACC President and CEO Chris Jahn. “I look forward to the value that Stolt-Nielsen will bring to our ACC and members through its experience in the ever-critical fields of chemical transportation and storage. Together, we will continue to show local communities and our country why American success relies on American chemistry.”
