Chemistry products are key to a number of major consumer products, including apparel, appliances, furniture, home furnishings, automobiles and other light vehicles, sporting goods, and agriculture and construction.

Almost every industry purchases some chemistry products either as inputs or to use in processing and, therefore, depends on the products of the chemical industry. Most manufactured goods are directly touched by chemistry.
