Other uses include metals manufacturing, glass etching and polishing, stainless steel pickling, semi-conductor preparation and various applications in the chemical and specialty metal production industries.

The Hydrogen Fluoride (HF) Panel Task Groups focus on particular areas of interest. They currently include Medical and Toxicology, and Mutual Aid. Each task group is made up of representatives designated by member companies of the Management Task Group.
