2022 Resin Situation and Trends 

North American resin production grew 1.3 percent in 2022, to 125.5 billion pounds, up from 123.9 billion pounds in 2021. Total sales and captive use rose 2.8 percent from 123.3 billion pounds in 2021 to 126.8 billion pounds in 2022.
