What is GlobalChem?

Presented annually by the American Chemistry Council (ACC), GlobalChem offers presentations and panels that explore the emerging opportunities and challenges related to chemicals management and regulatory compliance.

GlobalChem covers a broad range of current and emerging regulatory policies and procedures that impact manufacturers and the supply chain.

Who Attends GlobalChem?

GlobalChem annual convenes thought leaders in government, academia, industry and consulting to review and discuss recent developments in domestic and global chemicals management. It also provides the opportunity for chemical management experts to meet, connect and network. This generally includes participation by federal agencies like the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as well as global regulatory representatives from Canada, Europe, and Asia.

GlobalChem TSCA Pre-Conference Workshops Go Virtual Starting January 9.

GlobalChem 2026 will kick off with a four-part, virtual pre-conference workshop series beginning Friday, January 9 on the fundamentals and essentials of TSCA Section 5 (New Chemicals) and Section 6 (Existing Chemicals).

GlobalChem pre-conference session offers a valuable opportunity to lay the groundwork for deeper, more informed discussions during GlobalChem. So, whether you're new to chemical regulations or looking to refresh your knowledge, the workshops will help build, reinforce, and expand your understanding of key TSCA topics ahead of the main event.

Opening Networking Reception

Day one at GlobalChem begins with a focused exploration of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) ongoing implementation of the 2016 amendments to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).  Attendees will hear remarks and presentations on the chemicals management landscape from industry leaders and government officials. Plenary panels and breakout sessions exploring domestic chemicals management will round out the day, followed by an evening reception.

The day concludes with GlobalChem’s opening reception in the evening.
