Steve Prusak of Chevron Phillips Chemical to Become New ACC Officer

WASHINGTON, DC (Nov. 18, 2024) – The American Chemistry Council (ACC) has announced that Steve Prusak, President & CEO of Chevron Phillips Chemical, will become ACC’s newest officer, with a term beginning on January 1, 2025.

“Steve will provide a highly respected leadership example for the industry by advocating for policies that support growing chemical production here in the United States, demonstrating the importance of engaging with and supporting local communities, and delivering business value throughout the chemical and plastics supply chain,” said ACC President and CEO, Chris Jahn. “I’m pleased to have him serve in this important leadership capacity.”

Prusak will first assume the role of Vice Chairman of the Board and chair of ACC’s Board Finance, Audit and Membership Committee. He’ll serve in this capacity for one year, followed by a one-year term each as Chairman of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Board.
